Location: Remote with extensive travel, and occasional visits to Coventry office

We are looking for a surveyor to visit customer homes across the country, evaluating their homes for Solar PV and battery installations.
You’re the first team member our customers will meet in person, so it is critical that you make a great first impression. You’ll need to explain everything clearly and transparently – from how solar works, to who we are and what happens next. You’ll be a good listener, picking up on and addressing their concerns, and building rapport. You are passionate about solar and not afraid of getting a bit geeky (depending on the customer!).
You will accurately and confidently measure and assess their home. You need to have a good eye for detail, with the ability to spot potential challenges we might face during an installation (from tricky cable runs to access issues). You will take pride in completing thorough surveys, so we can prepare accurate designs and only ever have to visit once.
You’ll be on the road a lot, visiting properties around the country, so you need to be comfortable driving and being on your own. You’ll be in close contact with our team in the office and on installation sites, and will build strong, trust-based relationships with all of them.
